When a peel is applied to the skin, the action of glycolic acid lasts only about 30 minutes.

The action of AHAs on the skin can cause some small tingling. This is a normal reaction that never lasts very long, just a few minutes. If these tingling persist beyond ten minutes, adapt the concentration to your sensitivity.
